Instructions For Crematoriums
First you will remove the 5×7 Pet Identification Card from inside the plastic sleeve attached to the zipper of the Carneum Aftercare kit.
On the back of the card, there is a sticker with identifying numbers matching the stainless steel coin attached to the zipper. The card will also have the pet owner’s signature on it. This identification card and the stainless steel coin will be returned to the pet owner along with the pets cremains.
Please carefully read the instructions on the front of the Pet Identification Card that the pet owner has filled out. It will let you know what the pet owner expects to receive back with the cremains of their loved one. For example: a paw print, hair clippings, and so on.
The pet should not be removed from the bag unless there is a viewing of the loved one. If there is a viewing the pet should be placed back in the bag after the viewing. If not then the bag with the stainless steel coin is to be placed inside the chamber next to the pet for the cremation.
The EPA certified cadaver bag is safe for cremation. Make sure the identification card is removed from the plastic sleeve before placing the pet in the chamber. The pet should be gently placed inside the chamber in the bag or next to the bag with the stainless steel coin still attached to the bags zipper.
The stainless steel coin is a 304 stainless steel and has a melting point of 1400-1450C 2552-2642F degrees. The standard cremation is 1800 degrees Fahrenheit. The coin is to remain with the pet during the cremation. The burnt coin and the instruction card with the pet owners signature should be returned with the cremains to the pet owner. Thank you for your cooperation.
