Carneum is the brainchild of pet-lover and expert of hospitality, Jamie Reiner. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Jamie grew up surrounded by dogs, who, to him, were more like good friends and family. Jamie began working in the hospitality industry at a young age and learned early on that care, compassion, and keen attention to detail are crucial to creating a stress-free and successful event, as well as satisfied guests.

Jamie later took his knowledge of customer satisfaction to the pet burial and cremation industry where he worked alongside experts in cremation veterinary services and retailers to create a peaceful and seamless experience for pet-owners going through the most difficult times.

Customers were treated like family: Jamie cared for each animal as if they were his own in a time most vulnerable for pet-owners. He continues to carry out the values learned throughout his many years in the hospitality industry. Jamie aspires to preserve the dignity of our pets– which is why he created Carneum, a company dedicated to setting the standards for humane pet burial and cremation

Without the Carneum Aftercare kit, it’s likely that our cherished animal family members make their journey from Vet to Crematorium in a garbage bag. Often the information attached arrives damaged as well. At Carneum, we’re striving to put dignity and accountability back into the pet aftercare process.

We have two sets of instructions: one for Pet Owners, and one for Crematoriums.

Each kit includes a special metal coin with a unique tracking ID number. The number matches with the Pet Identification Card and Chain of Custody Card. The metal coin is designed to withstand the cremation process and never leaves your pet. This ensures that you receive the correct cremains. Carneum Aftercare Kits offer a more sanitary, dignified, and reliable option than ever before.
